more whining

jaeclecticReally, I am starting to bore myself.
But here it is: went to the office today, started feeling feverish again, stuck it out for almost 8 hours and now just want to collapse.
Meanwhile, landlord has scheduled showing of apartment for tomorrow 10AM-noon -- despite my having told him very specifically that either Saturday AFTERNOON or any time Sunday would be OK.
Which means a) I will have to set my alarm, admittedly not for very early, but being out the the house by 10 (or at least dressed and ready for "company") is not the leisurely Saturday morning that I crave, and b) I will have to vacuum tonight, since I would not want to inflict pre-10AM vacuum noise on my neighbors.
Plus I worry about the cats getting out with people in and out. But don't really want to hang out here. Not sure which is worse, trying to ignore people looking at my stuff or fretting about the kitties for two hours.
*grumble*
Update: just vacuumed, all the while noticing how bad the carpet really looks.
And BTW, why am I fretting about the #$%& landlord's old, ugly, worn, stained carpet looking like the crap it is? Because if he has to replace it and decides it's my fault, there goes my security deposit... since I didn't crawl around on my hands and knees documenting every stain when I moved in...
