I impulsively decided to take two days off work, e.g. tomorrow and Friday. I feel mildly guilty, as well as worried that I will later regret squandering my precious vacation time. But nevertheless: I am on vacation! right now! yay!

(Of course, something came up late in the day that made me repeatedly assure people that they could call my cell phone tomorrow if need be. But they were people I really like, so that's OK.)

As I have mentioned 2 million times by now: closing is tomorrow. Sadly, I will not get the keys until 3:00. Cruel!

This evening, another lovely dinner with Ilen and Craig. The New Zealander is fabulous (space, food, drink, wait staff, clientele*). Mmm, pie! Also, I drank two pints of something called Arrogant Bastard. The bartender did mention twice that it was "strong". Whee!

All in all, at this moment I feel rather pleased with life.
