I forgot to mention the part about: cancelling my DSL order with sonic.net, because the higher grade of service isn't available in my area, and I would only have until the 10th to test it, meaning effectively up until today (AKA no time at all). And then trying to check availability with at&t, whose web site refused to give me information because it could see that I already had placed an order (huh?), then fighting through 4 different phone systems and waiting on hold for absurd lengths of time before finally connecting with a person who could inform me that, no, they couldn't offer me the better DSL either. And then looking at the comcast web site and being confused (again) about the pricing, and therefore calling comcast and (to my vast surprise) getting a live person who was extremely helpful and apparently bent rules left and right to give me a good deal (e.g., counted me as switching from DSL, so I got the special rate, but also counted me as an existing account transferring service, so I wouldn't be charged for installation, figure that one out!)
Strangely enough, I did get a *little* bit of work done in between all the foo.
Also, up at 6:15 today because I am determined to wash my hair, and to stop by the new place and look at the tile again (and check the rigged plumbing) before heading to San Bruno.
Whee?
p.s. such good intentions of getting to the gym yesterday, time spent scrubbing kitchen floor instead.
p.p.s. hands still smell like vinegar.
p.p.p.s. I don't think floor scrubbing is aerobic exercise.
