weekend miscellany

jaeclecticThings I did this weekend:
- Woke up on Saturday AM thinking about work, with an idea that seemed important enough that I logged in to work email to send it around, and ended up scheduling a meeting while I was there.
- Had a pleasant lazy morning otherwise.
- Went to the chiropractor, then stopped at Elephant Pharmacy and bought quantities of stuff, but all quite practical even when not on my list.
- Went to the gym, where I did my 1/2 hour of elliptical then added 10 minutes of stair step just for luck
- Met a former colleague from PSFT at the Parkway and saw US vs John Lennon.
- Woke up again on Sunday thinking about work, but didn't do anything about it.
- Had a reasonably pleasant lazy couple of hours, before diving into household fix-it mode (spackling, hanging stuff, killing ants...)
- Spent many long hours assembling the DR shelf assemblage. Not that it was that hard, there was just a lot of it. Well, picking the large units up by myself was hard enough that I dropped one of them (dinged floor, dinged new DR table, thought I'd dinged a toe or two but they don't hurt now, so I guess it was a glancing blow).
- Did a couple loads of laundry.
- Watched a couple hours worth of online videos of Richard Dawkins being eloquently atheistic
- Determined to go see BSM at DNA Lounge, despite it being a school night (now waiting for Zteph who kindly offered to drive).
Things I did not do this weekend:
- Research election stuff.
- Go for a hike or walk today, even though it looked beautiful outside.
I suppose that's not so bad :)
