(updating to say: these little ones aren't all that scary. except when you actually think about them being little ones, and start imagining what a big one would be like. *shudder*)

8 years--i never felt an earthquake.

[only one thing that i thought was a large animal jumping on the roor, and then turned out to be an earthquake. just a bop, really.]

Well, I've felt several in my 6 years here, some more dramatic than others, but all fairly mild (i.e. shaking but nothing fell over!) Sometimes I realized right away that it was an earthquake, but other times I've thought "did a car hit the building?" Of course the opposite also happens, something shakes whatever room I'm in and I run to the computer to check if it was an earthquake, but it wasn't.

Anyway, I think your not-a-large-jumping-animal-after-all experience counts :)
