Seeing as I have a major case of the fuckits today, I decided to email The Guy one more time -- actually sent him my little "7 stages of contract renewal" schtick.

And almost immediate got a reply, he has been in UK for a funeral, will try to catch up with me soon.

Just as it was silly to be dejected when I didn't hear from him, it is silly to be elated that I have. But there it is...
