apropos of another lazy AM
Feb. 19th, 2007 10:10 amHappy Presidents' Day, AKA have the day off and contemplate the state of American democracy. Or not.*
I considered doing something vaguely exciting today, like driving to somewhere near the ocean for a hike, but find that I am not much in the mood for driving, or even for figuring out where to go. As an alternative, I am thinking that I will:
- stop denying that I need to vacuum & sweep
- go (window?) shopping for light fixtures, something I've actually been wanting to do and not finding time for
- perhaps go for a hike at Tilden or one of the other East Bay hills parks that I don't frequent as often as Redwood Regional; otherwise just go for another walk around Lake Merritt.
- possibly, just possibly, go out to see a movie this evening
Which is really quite enough for one day, even if none of it is all that glamorous.
* Ambiguity intentional
