jaeclecticNothing really noteworthy to post about; it's been a pleasant weekend and generally I've been pretty well. I suspect that getting lots of exercise has a direct connection with the generally good mood I've been in. Ironic that exercise would impact my job satisfaction, but there you are...
The highlight of the weekend was going to see One Man Star Wars Trilogy, which was hysterically funny. It's only about an hour long, but I spent the whole hour laughing so hard I was leaking tears. Also, of course, it was lovely to see Gen and Tom.
Other than that: yesterday I walked around Lake Merritt then stopped at the farmer's market on the way home; picked up the new dining room light fixture (next step: hire someone to install it); stopped at REI where the nice person at customer service was able to fix my trekking pole in about 10 seconds; did the larger part of the grocery shopping; then headed into the city for dinner and the show.
Today I slept late; almost forgot about the time change; did laundry including both duvet covers due to a bout of feline misbehavior and/or illness this week; took pictures of the cats sleeping on the duvet which I had folded up and then covered with towels since I don't have a third backup duvet cover -- they were so pleased with the cushiness of what was clearly intended as a cat bed that they were willing to sleep almost next to one another; went to the gym; finished the grocery shopping; fed myself on sauteed asparagus while also preparing vegetable soup; and randomly decided to update my profile on match.com (*shrug*).
The weather was lovely, I got things done, I had fun.
Now I'm just peeved because it's almost 9:00 when it ought to be only 8:00...
