It really, really, truly looks like my contract will not be renewed. I just got a call from my manager, who sounded very sad.

I am kind of under-reacting at the moment, partly because I saw it coming, partly disbelief, partly because I am just so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open.

The only possible option is if someone in a different department comes up with funding. But X has already said the marketing budget is really tight, and R carefully explained why he won't have funding until July...

So. Unemployment. *sigh*
