endings

I always hate saying goodbye to people. Not of course quite quite done at Sun yet, but definitely in the mode where any time I run into someone, it might be the last time I see them. And who knows which of these people I will actually keep in touch with.

Best moment of yesterday: met with R, had a great conversation as usual, then when we were saying goodbye, I held out my hand to shake and he turned it into a hug instead. Perhaps silly of me to care, but I was really touched (you know -- somebody likes me! really likes me! so silly)

Hmm, very tempting.

There is of course the usual irony that I will have time but not money. But hey, if I can find a cheap flight...
