jaeclectic...is what really set me off today.
He was among the crew that was possibly going to take me out for a drink, sent his regrets in an email:

Is it obvious why this makes me feel like I've been kicked in the stomach? Probably not, I am inexplicable even to myself. Something about "you have my contact info" instead of giving me a home email or phone number, and "will miss you" instead of...
Oh and he signed it "Your buddy". I honestly don't know what to make of that. Except of course that I shouldn't be trying to make anything of it, because none of it means anything.
