I (mis)managed to time things such that I have zero netflix DVDs on hand for the 3-day weekend. Gosh, four evenings with no Dr Who / Torchwood. Whatever shall I do?
Well, the thought did cross my mind. Sadly, there are a couple of problems with that theory. First, as far as I can tell, while Season 1 of the new Dr Who is available for download, Season 2 (which is what I'm on) is not.
Second, the pleasure of my viewing experience has a lot to do with sitting on the sofa and cuddling with the kitties. This will not be compatible with the instant download thing unless and until I fork over for one of those wireless-TV-netflixian devices (which I have thought about, but not to the point of actually researching much less making a purchase).
And of course, really: It is extremely silly of me to even feel a pang about a few days without a fix of Dr Who, given that I have many other entertainment options readily available! Which was really the point of the post, I just have to laugh at myself now and then...
