happy friday to us all

jaeclecticso glad this week is over. me tired.
too much energy going into just staying focused at work. everything seems either overwhelming -- I can't possibly get that done in the few weeks remaining of my contract -- or trivial -- why even start this today, when I'll need something to do next week? and my mood flipflops accordingly between anxious and bored, two of my least favorite states...
just got an invitation to a halloween party, which for some reason made me realize I should actually figure out my costume this weekend. plus of course picking up the contact lenses.
odd moment of loneliness just now. not sure where it came from... still need to work on my local social network, too many of my friends are too far away.
BTW, plans for the trip are coming together well. soon I will actually need to start obsessing about packing :)
