A friend posted on behalf of a friend of hers, looking for homes for 2 different cats whose owners are incapacitated.


Quoting from the other post:

I am writing today in a last ditch effort to find homes for 2 cats, Lucy and Emily.
They have been living alone in their respective apartments since late
October with daily visits from volunteers in the neighborhood.

The guardian of Lucy has been in intensive care since Oct 21st and has
learned he will not be coming home for 4 to 6 months and will never
walk again.

The guardian of Emily was placed in a Nursing home - (and
will not be returning home) at the start of November and is really
worried that her cat cannot find a home.

Lucy is very loving, all black angora, fat and DESPERATE for love and a new home.

Emily is a black white and orange calico, she's pretty traumatized right now but is
warming up to the strangers visiting her.

It's getting so cold, it's sad to see them go week after week in their cold empty
apartments.

Do you know anyone who can adopt Lucy or Emily? Do you have any contacts that
can help them? SPCA and PAWS won't take them.


I can forward pictures and contact info -- and BTW from the pic, Emily is actually a torti, not a calico.

Needless to say, my heart breaks.
