sneak attack

While attempting some filing (AKA tidying up huge stacks of paper that have taken over both office and dining area), I came across a messy wad of post-its on which I had recorded detailed notes about my attempts to get Lena to eat -- what medications given, what kinds of food (often multiple flavors) offered at what time of day, whether she came to the kitchen voluntarily or had to be carried, whether she showed any enthusiasm once she got there, how much she ate over the course of the day... Presumably this is from the last few weeks of her life, although there are no dates, just days of the week.

Somehow it is really hard throwing this away.

Heck - I've even kept outdated medications for my cats that have passed on.

I still have the vet 'passport' record of shots and such for my cat, who died in 1992 or 1993.
