one for the weird squad
Jan. 11th, 2011 05:21 pmToday in the snail mail, I got a card from a friend in England that I haven't seen or heard from in several years. The address I had for her was with her parents, and I was starting to think we'd completely fallen out of touch. So I was really delighted to see the envelope with her name in the return address.
The contents proved to be a change of address notice. Period. Full stop, as they say in U.K.
No note, not even a scrawled "Hi!" in the margin.
Huh.
The envelope did have a little heart sticker on it, though.
