Had a moderately busy week, between working on the contract gig, ginormous quantities of new-hire paperwork for Peoplesoft, and a few odd & ends.

Naturally Peoplesoft v. Oracle is in the news, and not looking so good for Peoplesoft, so I am bracing myself to explain (to whomever may ask) why I think it isn't totally stupid to have just taken a job there. And I honestly don't think it is a bad decision, simply because whatever happens will take long enough that I can reckon on getting in at least a year or two, at which point if I have to move on, so be it. And if I'm wrong... c'est la guerre. Things happen, even at companies that aren't in the news.

Seem to be getting over the sinus foo, but it's taking its good old time. Still a little bit low energy, perhaps just due to time of month. And now I seem to have pulled a muscle in my side today, somewhere between vacuuming and carrying groceries. Argh.

I had been planning to take a walk this evening, but am sinking into lethargy instead...
