Walking near Lake Merritt, saw a person taking their xmas tree home on their bicycle. Very competently, I might add. Just had it balanced on one shoulder. I was impressed!

Got a phone call from the recruiter for TellMe, apparently hoping I had already been laid off.

A raccoon. Fat, sassy, and fearless. Wading in the shallows, right there amongst the geese and seagulls, in broad daylight. Calmly ignoring the joggers and gawkers on the sidewalk above.

And BTW, how do the geese decide to all walk into the water at one time?

Also, best overheard conversation snippet of the day: "The woman he married is a devil just like him, he met his match when he married her".
