my new laptop just arrived

- amazon.com predicted delivery between June 29 and July 3 (which had me worried that I wouldn't get it until the 5th, since it was being shipped to my office which is closed on the 3rd and 4th)
- UPS predicted delivery next Monday, June 26
- it arrived today
Can you say "padded estimates"?
