After the anticipated torturous conversation with tech support, he advises me to return the router and exchange it.

So I guess I'll be sitting at the dining room table to use the computer for a few days more.

I could have used that hour for so many other things...

And I was so proud of myself that I remembered to buy the wireless router last week... *sigh*
